Jack Pine Unveils 2024 Mother’s Day Pumpkin; available at Glass Garden Art Festival

Vaseline 4 weeks ago

LAURELVILLE – Renowned glass artist Jack Pine recently unveiled his 2024 Mother’s Day Pumpkin. After a collector suggested last year that he create an annual Mother’s Day pumpkin, Pine agreed.

He designed the 2024 Mother’s Day pumpkin in iridescent shades of teal teal to honor women fighting ovarian cancer, with 10% of all sales benefiting ovarian cancer research through the Ohio State University Comprehensive Cancer Center’s Kline Family Fund for Ovarian Cancer Research. – Arthur G. James Cancer Hospital and Richard J. Solove Research Institute (OSUCCC – James).

“For Mother’s Day, I really wanted to create a piece that would allow us to give back to the community and support an important cause that benefits women,” Pine said in a press release. “One of our festival team members is a mother of two children who has been diagnosed with ovarian cancer. When I thought about her story, and how much I love my own mother, it inspired me to design a piece that will help fund research into a disease that affects so many mothers and other women.”
