Ryan Hall has thanked Hull KR for giving him the opportunity to expand his career, insisting he will always be a Robin. It has been confirmed that the winger will leave the club at the end of the season, with Hall set to return to Leeds Rhinos to end his career.

Since arriving at the club in 2020, Hall has played a crucial role in the club’s rise. With 52 tries in 83 appearances, Hall has been a pillar of consistency throughout his time at Craven Park. But he will leave at the end of the year after admitting a new opportunity has presented itself that he ‘cannot refuse’.

In a moving and lengthy statement issued after the confirmation of his departure, Hall expressed his gratitude to the club and its supporters.

“I am very grateful that the club contacted me in 2020 and wanted my services,” he said. “My time in the NRL was plagued by injuries and age was not on my side. The club had every reason not to be interested in me.

“But Hull KR believed in me. I always had the desire to continue, and when I joined the club I wanted to pay that back on the pitch and show that I still had a lot in me.”

“These three and a half years have been great. I have seen the club transform into a real top four team. I think I have left the place better than I found it and I am really proud of the progress we have made at Hull KR.

“We haven’t been successful yet, but we are challenging for success. We are a good team and we aim to be among the teams competing for silverware at the end of the year.
