SPeople watching the thousands run this weekend will fall into two camps. There will be people who see runners grunting from cramps and hear stories about chafing nipples, falling toenails or accidental bowel movements and think, “Why would anyone want to do that?”

In the second camp, the participants will look through the wall and reach the finish line and think, “Wow, I would like to do that again someday.”
