Grade II listed 17th century cottages are sold at auction for £345,000

A substantial 17th century property, split into three cottages, is to be auctioned in Norfolk next week.

Empton House, in The Street, Brockdish, is a Grade II listed house in the Waveney Valley with a guide price of £345,000.

The house, between Harleston and Diss, will appear on the SDL Property Auctions livestream on Thursday, April 25, starting at 9am.

The vacant property, a detached timber-framed building, is located within the Brockdish Conservation Area and Harleston Conservation Area.

The house is described by SDL as a property with “plenty of charm and character”, has heavy beams and features fireplaces.
