Ensuring Safety & Thorough Care
At Camilla Care, we are consistently updating our policies to keep residents, staff, and community members safe.
Our policies are, at minimum, kept in line with current Government of Ontario guidelines for long-term care homes.

Policies as of March 14, 2022:
General Policies:
- Residents are now able to enjoy the company of visitors (inside and outside), participate in social activities, and leave the home for day or overnight visits.
Visitor Policies:
- Visitors may enter the home, provided they wear a mask (inside and outside), are fully vaccinated, and undergo active screening and a Rapid Antigen Test (RAT) before entering.
- As per government guidelines, up to four visitors per resident are permitted inside the home at one time.
Resident Absences from the Home:
- Residents who leave the home are advised to wear a mask, wash hands frequently, limit contact with others, and avoid large social gatherings
- Upon return, residents who have been away for a day will be actively screened and undergo a Rapid Antigen Test, as well as a PCR test on day 5 after the absence.
